In a Solaris Cluster environment, when Solaris Volume Manager (SVM) software is used, one node may not be able to import a disk set. This will prevent the cluster from failing over properly.
The solution presented in this document should be attempted before pursuing Problem Resolution .
By way of example consider a two node cluster with nodes: node1 and node2 and the disk set ora-set.
Until node2 cannot take ownership of the set, cluster failover will not work properly.
