How to configure console terminal type (TERM) in Solaris 10 and above (Doc ID 1002275.1)

Goal

To change the terminal type for the console prior to Solaris 10 required you to edit the 'co' line in inittab but this line does not exist with Solaris 10.

Several SMF commands will be need to be executed to make this change.
