Problems with NFS mounting SGI server machine (Doc ID 1003046.1)

Symptoms

 NFS (NFSv3 or NFSv2) mounts intermittently fail from Solaris clients with an SGI nfs server.  When customer tries to do the mount via: mount SGI:/dir dir  an error message of "not a directory" is returned.


The customer said that they didn't have this problem prior to upgrading their software on the SGI box to IRIX 6.0.1.
