Last updated on NOVEMBER 29, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (32-bit)

Goal

As part of a disaster recovery plan a Jumpstart image was created that will install a Solstice DiskSuite (SDS) mirrored operating system to the same specification as the original machine. The Jumpstart also installs the Solstice Backup client package. The goal now is to restore the operating system filesystems that have been backed up using Solstice Backup. How to achieve this?
