Goal

This document tells you how to implement masquerading in sendmail.

This is typically done in order to change the domain name (the entry after the "@" sign) on outgoing email in order to remove the name of the sending host:

john.doe@unixhost.somecompany.com

becomes:

john.doe@somecompany.com
