Goal

This document is meant to define symmetric and asymmetric disk arrays as well as the term Dual-Active. Once defined we will show how these arrays are to be configured using Solaris[TM] Traffic Manager(STMS/mpxio). The topic of symmetric and asymmetric arrays applies only to those storage enclosures which have more than one host IO channel, and more than one RAID processor.
