Symptoms

Host sees the iSCSI Target but fails to recognize the LUN.

In some cases, though the iSCSI target is discovered properly the iSCSI Lun may not be recognized neither in the `format` output nor in the `iscsiadm list target -S` command output. Here in this document we shall try to list (and update as and when we find a new one) probable reasons for the same.
