Goal

This document gives information on tuning the Solaris[TM] Operating System kernel parameter "sq_max_size", in the /etc/system file.

Note: We recommend caution when adjusting this value.


This parameter is sometimes used to improve network performance, by increasing STREAMS synchronized queue limits.
