Purpose
Before installing, patching, or upgrading Solaris and/or Oracle Solaris Cluster, formerly known as Sun Cluster and hereafter referred to as Solaris Cluster, it is helpful to check which Solaris releases are supported for each release of Solaris Cluster. The information/mapping and commands listed below will be helpful for this purpose. It is also helpful to check which Solaris distribution you are using and what is supported with your intended Solaris Cluster solution.
