Symptoms

Unable to set the static ip address from the front panel on an Sun StorEdge[TM] L25/L100 Tape Library with a MC300 Prism Management Card.

Although initially it will allow you to change the ip address and netmask via the front panel, a reboot of the MC300 Prism Management Card is required for the new network settings to take affect. But after a power cycle, the network settings are not updated on the MC300 and reverts back to the default of 192.168.1.1.
