Solaris Volume Manager: How to Recover Lost Diskset/Metaset after Hostname Change or Device Path Changes and Message "no such set" (Doc ID 1007877.1)

The symptom observed is that when you try to check or to take the ownership of a SVM diskset which existed prior to the hostname or device path change, "no such set" is reported.




After a hostname change or some device paths changes, none of the disksets in the server are available.

When you connect storage from a different system this behavior could also occur.
