Symptoms

Symptoms

"Allocation of bitmap device failed" while attempting to enable a Remote Mirror set on a host, or attempting to add a disk queue to a set.

Example:

SNDR: pri-host /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s1 /dev/rdsk/c2t0d0s1 sec-host /dev/vx/rdsk/sec-dg/sec-vol /dev//rdsk/rootdg/sec-bmp
SNDR: Error
SNDR: Allocation of bitmap device /dev/rdsk/c2t0d0s1 failed
