lp Fills up /tmp with Empty Files (Doc ID 1008284.1)

Symptoms

 When checking /tmp it was observed that there were lots of empty files filling up the directory. These files were traced to printing by checking the pid number associated with the each file. On other Solaris[TM] machines these files are not present.
