Goal

The Sun Storage 6000 Array family and the Sun Storage 2540-M2 Array support data replication.  Data replication (sometimes also called remote volume mirroring or RVM) is the ability to copy data from a primary volume (source) on one array to a secondary volume (destination) on another array. This article provides guidance on getting started, and it points out important tips to help you configure data replication successfully.
