Goal

This document describes how to kill CDE screen lock and relates to the following CDE versions:

CDE 1.3 which is supported on Solaris 7
CDE 1.4 which is supported on Solaris 8
CDE 1.5 which is supported on Solaris 9
CDE 1.6 which is supported on Solaris 10

Future versions of Solaris will not include CDE functionality as the primary desktop will be Gnome.
