Sun StorEdge[TM] SAN: luxadm -e port reports "Error: AL_PA is not a valid private loop address"

Symptoms

 

This Storage Area Network (SAN) had been working and suddenly lost access to some Fibre devices.  Further investigation indicated they were all on the same HBA . Running leadville commands we found :
