Symptoms

ACSLS is not starting up.
Database is not starting up.
Cannot set group id to 100.
NOTICE: db_command, uid 1546: setuid execution not allowed
NOTICE: onstat, uid 1546: setuid execution not allowed
NOTICE: oninit, uid 0: setuid execution not allowed
NOTICE: onmode, uid 0: setuid execution not allowed


Note:  While the symptoms above were taken from ACSLS 7.x,  similar issues may also occur in ACSLS 8.x where "setuid execution" is not allowed.

Changes

UNIX system underwent security lockdown measures.
