Goal

Sun Storage Common Array Manager (CAM) is the supported management software for the 2500, 2500-M2 and 6000 array families. This article also applies to SANtricity, which is no longer provided by Oracle but is still in use by some Oracle customers. When managing arrays, you can configure them such that a password is required to perform certain operations from CAM or SANtricity.  This document explains how the arrays responds when an incorrect password is used.
