ACSLS - Database will Not Start After Solaris 8 Patches Installed. (Doc ID 1016756.1)

Symptoms

1.  Database will not start

2.  Error messages during ACSLS start up:
     Unable to open input file 's'
     Unable to open input file 'c'

3.  Error messages in lib6_online.log:
     Exception Caught. Type: MT_EX_OS, Context: mem
     PANIC: Attempting to bring system down

4.  Error message in onstat.out  (included in the ACSLS output tarfile):
     shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER 'lib6serv'
     Database server startup incomplete, exiting

5.  OS installed is Solaris 8

Changes

Installed SunOS 5.8: linker patch 109147-39 or 109147-38
