Symptoms

A PSH fault message appears on the console with the MSG-ID FMD-8000-0W (the Solaris[TM] Fault Manager received an event from a component to which no automated diagnosis software is currently subscribed.). The action recommended in the message: Run pkgchk -n SUNWfmd does not resolve the problem.
