Goal
Description
For an interface (network interface), its MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) size in bytes represents the largest data size that can be placed inside a frame, without fragmentation, before being sent to the physical network.
The default MTU size for interfaces conforming to Ethernet v2 is 1500 bytes.
For an interface, you may desire to change its MTU size to fit your networking needs.
