Symptoms

ACSLS would not come up after rebooting the server.
'onstat -l' returns "shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER 'lib6serv'"
Could not create shm file '/INFORMIXTMP/.inf.lib6serv'
Database start up errors

Error messages in lib6_online.log
