Goal

Before performing a patchadd(1M) to install a patch, you have to check if any incompatible/restricted patch is installed.

If any incompatible/restricted patch was installed on the system, you should remove the patch before performing patchadd(1M).

Purpose/Scope:

This document explains how to remove the incompatible/restricted patch before performing patchadd(1M).

Symptoms:


patchadd(1M) failed.
patchadd(1M) terminated.
