When a patch installation fails unexpectedly, it
should be automatically uninstalled. Uninstalling a patch intends to
undo the changes it applied when it was installed. However, sometimes a
patch may not be completely uninstalled and, hence, introduces
inconsistencies between the package and patch database and the existing
files installed on disk.
This document describes how to verify all patch files are uninstalled from the previous failed patch installation.
