Goal

This solution provides a means to verify if there is a communication path established between the Library and the ACSLS server.

This solution requires knowledge about the communication interface used by the tape library to attach to the ACSLS host server.

SCSI/Fibre attached libraries include libraries like L700, L180, 9740, SL500, SL150, etc.

TCP/IP or network attached libraries include SL3000, SL8500, L5500, 9310, etc.

Serial attached libraries include 9310, 4410, 9740, etc.
