This document covers the steps to follow when taking a disk set (metaset) fails.

The following are some of the errors that may be seen when trying to take a disk set in a Solaris Cluster environment.

metaset: failed to notify DCS of take

metaset: node1: setname "exampleds": no such set

metaset: setname must be specified

metaset: illegal option -- c
metaset: unknown command

metaset: node1: metad client create: RPC: Timed out
