Symptoms

S878 abend in ThruPut Manager when executing a UUI command.
878 dump occurred for ThruPut Manager involving SMC UUI.
May also see IEW4000I fetch failure message.
ExLM sync job fails with S878.
S40D abend in LCMMAIN.
VTV scratch sync abends.

Dump title example from LCMMAIN:  ABEND=40D,RC=10,COMPON=RTM2,COMPID=SCRTM,ISSUER=IEAVTRT2,MEMTERM - UNRECOVERABLE ABEND FAILURE
