The Administrator receives reports that some users defined within Active Directory (AD) are unable to authenticate with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). This failure may be seen at the standard VDI login or with direct connections to virtual machines via the VDI RDP Broker.
In this situation, verbose cacao logging will reveal the following error:
FINE: thr#19 Processing javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: KDC has no support for encryption type (14)
Attempts to resolve this behavior by restarting software-services or the server itself are unsuccessful.
