The exact fault differs depending on the type of correctable error received, but will result in a fault indicating one of the cores of a CPU is faulty. This will generate an ASR event, alert or active problem on the system.


The message ID will always match the form "GMCA-XXXX-XX".



The alert, log message or active problem: "a level 2 cache on this cpu is faulty", can be found in the following locations in the browser interface:
