Older—often referred to as legacy—X11 applications may not be able to handle events generated by modern input devices that are passed through to it by Secure Global Desktop (SGD) Software.   One of the most common manifestation of this are reports of application instability when end-users employ a mouse with a scroll wheel, and attempt to use it as they are familiar with within the older application environment.

This document defines the process for disabling 'scroll wheel' events from being passed to a specific application.
