ACSLS HA - metaset "Invalid argument" error (Doc ID 1310460.1)

Symptoms

When creating the Solaris Volume Manager (SVM) disk set for the external shared storage, the metaset command to add the external shared LUNs (as DIDs) to the diskset failed with an "Invalid argument" error:  
#  metaset -s acsls_ds -a -h host01 host02 
#  metaset -s acsls_ds -a /dev/did/rdsk/d4 /dev/did/rdsk/d5
metaset: host01: d4s0: Invalid argument
 

Changes

No deviation from the standard ACSLS HA 8.0 Setup Guide was ever done.  Step by step instructions were followed to the letter.
