Desktop assignments In Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure are lost when Base DN Used by The Desktop Provider Is Changed (Doc ID 1329586.1)

Symptoms

When using Oracle Virtual Desktop (VDI) with LDAP integration to assign users and tokens to pools and desktops as per:

 https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E26217_01/E35769/html/directory-integration.html#directory-integration-ldap

after the base DN used for LDAP searches is changed, it is found that all assignments are lost. i.e all users assigned to a specific pool or Desktop are no longer listed. This is seen from the command line and from the VDI Administration BUI.

The base DN used for LDAP searches was changed.
