Symptoms
Impossible to rename a file on a ZFS filesystem when installing 146364-01 (Samba 3.5.5)
Impossible to rename a file on a Samba share with a ZFS filesystem backend when installing 146364-01 (Samba 3.5.5) Example: For a file with this ACL: -rw-------+ 1 user sales 0 Jan 5 19:06 /export/user/user/testfile.txt owner@:rw-pdDaARWcC--:------:allow ... an "access denied" error is seen when trying to rename it from a windows client. If the 's' flag is added: -rw-------+ 1 user sales 0 Jan 5 19:06 /export/user/user/testfile.txt owner@:rw-pdDaARWcC-s:------:allow ...it works. The previous Solaris Samba package shipped before 146364-01 (sparc) / 146364-01 (x86) didn't have this issue.
