While using Sun StorageTek[TM] Common Array Manager (CAM), the array registration process might take up to 15-20 minutes for arrays that include a large number of volumes (ie: more than 500-600 volumes).

At the end of the registration, the health status for the array might be "Lost Communication" and CAM may not report any volumes, virtual disks, or other elements.
