Desktops fail to come out of Reserved state

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Desktops that are part of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Pool whose Recycle Policy is set to 'reuse' can remain in 'Reserved' forever.
Consider a pool which is set with recycle policy as 'reuse':
# /opt/SUNWvda/sbin/vda pool-getprops -p recycle-policy <POOL>
WHERE <POOL> is the chosen Pool
When a Desktop that belongs to such Pool is being recycled as per policy, it gets into 'Reserved' state and can remain in that state for ever.
To identify such Desktops, go to VDI Administration GUI by:
- Accessing https://<VDI_CORE_HOST>:1801/vda/faces/jsp/login/Login.jsp page.
- Login as 'root' / <password>
- Switch to 'Pools' -> 'Desktop' tab
