How to Make a Certificate Chain Available to HTTPS Connections in Secure Global Desktop
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 13, 2017
Applies to:Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 4.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Install a server certificate chain (intermediate plus root) in such a way that an http connection utilizing Secure Socket Layer transport, an https connection, will be able to authenticate the Secure Global Desktop (SGD) server. Later versions of Java 6 and Java 7 will complain about the connection to the website being untrusted if Apache can not pass on the entire chain. Apache must be configured to know the location of the entire chain to avoid this.
