How to execute snoop on solaris_8 branded zones (Doc ID 1346435.1)

Solaris Operating System - Version 10 1/13 U11 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When executing snoop command on Solaris 8 branded zone, you may encounter the following error

# snoop -d e1000g0
snoop: /dev/e1000g: No such file or directory


Solaris 8 version of snoop command can not support some network interface and
in this case, we have to use Solaris 10 version of snoop command instead.
