How to Set Up SMF for Apache 2 on Solaris 10 ? (Doc ID 1355048.1)

Last updated on APRIL 24, 2020

Applies to:

Solaris Operating System - Version 10 3/05 to 10 10/09 U8 [Release 10.0]
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (32-bit)

Goal

When the Apache 2 server is installed along with the Solaris 10 installation, the SMF entries for Apache 2 are configured by default. However, if the choice is made to not install Apache 2 during Solaris 10 installation and manually add Solaris Apache 2 packages later, then SMF for Apache 2 needs to be configured manually.
