Last updated on JULY 08, 2013

Applies to:

Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure - Version 3.2.1 to 3.3.2 [Release 3.0]
Sun Ray Software - Version SRS 5.0 to SRS 5.2.6 [Release 5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Users accessing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) 3.2.1 on Oracle Solaris x86,  via Sun Ray Clients may report that Windows XP SP3 Desktop sessions launched via RDP are dying and creating core files. Users find that the crash is occurring when viewing flash-animated sites.

In this scenario, the uttsc-bin binary is crashing, causing the VDI session to end and redirecting the user to the VDI screen. This behavior does not affect all users, but can happen quite regularly for the users who do see the problem.
