Symptoms

When trying to connect via SMB to shares provided by Sun Unified Storage 7000 systems with earlier versions than 2010.Q3.4.1, from a MAC OS 7.1 client, users run into 'permission denied' messages on the client, when there are no problems with the same shares accessed via earlier versions of Mac OS or Windows clients.
