Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2013

Applies to:

Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure - Version 3.3 to 3.3.2 [Release 3.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When attempting to build a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) 3.3 cluster, and adding a new node, the current servers in the existing cluster had the Sun Ray Server Group Signature previously changed by utgroupsig after the initial setup of the cluster. On attempting to install and join a new VDI server to the cluster, it fails upon trying to configure SRSS utreplica. The VDI administrator will see something like:

Configuration of Sun Ray Server Software has completed. Please check
the log file, /var/log/SUNWut/utconfig.2011_09_06_09:47:54.log, for errors.
Signature mismatch - check configuration

Replica configuration:

Error: There was an error configuring Sun Ray Server Software replication

See the log file '/var/log/vda-config.2011_09_06_09:46:17.log' for additional information.

The configuration of Oracle VDI 3.3 has failed.

See the log file '/var/log/vda-config.2011_09_06_09:46:17.log' for additional information.
