Only Solaris 8 with patch 111095-34 affected with this issue.


Symptoms

Customer running Solaris 8 with patch 111095-34 may see lots of FCP debug messages in the /var/adm/messages as mentioned below:

 
Nov 13 08:53:36 node01 fctl: [ID 517869 kern.warning] WARNING: 1890=>ssfcp(0)::ioctl: claiming this one
Nov 13 08:53:36 node01 fctl: [ID 517869 kern.warning] WARNING: 1891=>ssfcp(0)::ioctl: claiming this one

 

You may see additional debug messages depending upon the FCP communicating with external link, for example:
Apr 11 13:30:29 host fctl: [ID 517869 kern.warning] WARNING: 992=>ssfcp(0)::ioctl: claiming this one
