Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure: Desktop Cloning or Copying May Fail on Jumpstart/FLAR Installed Solaris Servers (Doc ID 1380240.1)

Symptoms

If Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) has been installed on Solaris servers that have been replicated using a automated installer or replication tool such as Jumpstart or FLAR, and there are multiple VDI servers deployed using this replication method, it is possible that VDI  desktop and or template cloning/copy action performed on the VDI server can fail, with cacao log errors such as:

com.sun.vda.service.api.ServiceException
Error copying: Copying of volume 608e5c4e-820c-4430-bd75-887553053ea2@version1 to 5e6d2750-32fb-4d0e-9dd7-311e30e93983 failed on storage server

or:

com.sun.vda.service.core.jobs.CloneJob runJob
WARNING: thr#2236 Error cloning: Copying of volume {0} to {1} failed on storage server {2}.
 com.sun.vda.service.core.jobs.CloneJob runJob
