Slow Performance With Multiple Monitors When Using VRDP connection in Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Doc ID 1381134.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 30, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure - Version 3.3.1 to 3.5.1 [Release 3.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Users connecting from Sun Ray Clients (including the Oracle Virtual Desktop Client) with devices running multiple monitors to an Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment to display Remote Windows Desktops via vRDP may observe a condition wherein the performance of sessions displayed on the primary monitor is fine, while the performance when the session is displayed on secondary displays is poor.

In this scenario, vdieo playback will be perceived as very choppy, and audio performance may suffer greatly.
