Symptoms
When executing a snmpwalk to query a host a timeout may occur in the IP MIBs such as the ipAddrTable or ipRouteTable OIDs. The error received is the following:
Timeout: No Response from "hostname"
For example a snmpwalk executed to query the entire OID tree that then times out:
/usr/sfw/bin/snmpwalk -On -v1 -c public hostname.domain.com
