Sun Ray Servers Appear to Be Standalone After Automatic Failover of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Doc ID 1416782.1)

Last updated on APRIL 06, 2012

Applies to:

Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure - Version: 3.3.1 and later   [Release: 3.0 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In some situations in which a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) cluster invokes an automatic failover, the Sun Ray Administrator may find that the corresponding Fail Over Group (FOG) of Sun Ray Servers (SRS) are reporting as standalone nodes.

In this scenario, a secondary node may report as follows:

# /opt/SUNWut/sbin//utgstatus
host flags interface flags
10.10.10.0/32
--------------------- -------------------
srs03 TN 10.10.10.60 UA-

Secondly, the administrator may find that the utreplica.log  (/var/adm/log/utreplica.log) on each secondary has recorded events like the following:

# Script: utreplica Version: 4.3_50,REV=2011.04.22.22.07
