Symptoms

Virtual VDesktop Infrastructure (VDI) services will report as down on one or more nodes in the cluster.  Restarting the VDI services will fail to correct the situation:



 

Changes

A failover may have been attempted but unsuccessful previously.  The failover may have been the result of rebooting both servers simultaneously instead of in a staged manner as recommended.  This could lead to a discrepancy in the file /etc/opt/SUNWvda/vdadbconnection.properties files on the two servers.
