Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure 3.3+ VDA Service Can Not Start On One Node After Failover (Doc ID 1435220.1)

Virtual VDesktop Infrastructure (VDI) services will report as down on one or more nodes in the cluster.  Restarting the VDI services will fail to correct the situation:



A failover may have been attempted but unsuccessful previously.  The failover may have been the result of rebooting both servers simultaneously instead of in a staged manner as recommended.  This could lead to a discrepancy in the file /etc/opt/SUNWvda/ files on the two servers.
