Goal

How to Remove and Replace a Failed or PredictiveFail Shared Storage Disk Drive on an Oracle Database Appliance range of servers.

If the disk that you are replacing is not in FAILED or PredictiveFail status, then you will need to use DOC ID 2063028.1 How to Replace an ODA (Oracle Database Appliance) Shared Storage Disk

In DOC ID 2063028.1, there are addition steps that need to be taken within ASM (if a disk is not FAILED or PredictiveFail status), to safely remove the disk.
