Sun Ray Clients Experience Random Disconnects From Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Sessions When Using DHCP

Symptoms
Sun Ray clients sharing a common Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) infrastructure experience intermittent disconnects in the middle of active Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) sessions and a return to the VDI login screen.
Sun Ray log files e.g /var/opt/SUNWut/log/messages might show errors like these:
34 in.dhcpd ... Client :<MAC-ID> is trying to renew <address>, an IP address it has not leased.
34 dhcpd ... Duplicate offer of <IP address> to client: <MAC address>
34 dhcpd ... Duplicate offer of <IP address> to client: <MAC address>
WHERE <MAC-ID> is the client's Mac ID
<address> is an IP address
<MAC address> is the client's MAC address
Changes
The DHCP infrastructure was recently modified or upgraded.
