Symptoms

On Systems running Solaris 10 update 9 (Solaris 10 09/10) and later, zpools are no longer marked as FAULTED
when a zpool experiences IO errors such that it goes into suspended mode (failmode is hit, failmode = wait).

Within 'fmdump -eV' output, we'll see that the zpool went into suspended mode:
